Optimal design of composite materials, structures and technological processes
This direction is connected with the optimal design of composite materials and structures with predicted properties. New approach of the optimisation based on experiment design and response surface method has been developed. This approach consists from four stages: elaboration of the set of experiment designs, determination of material or structure properties in the reference points of experiment design by computer simulation or by physical experiment, determination of simple mathematical models in the domain of interest and optimisation by using a selected objective function and constraints. PC compatible software code for the optimal design of composite materials and structures has been developed.
