This research direction is related to one of the most technologically advanced methods of producing high performance composite materials. The XWinder 4-piece winding machine is capable of delivering structural elements of up to 3m in length and 10cm in diameter, with different profile and fiber content. The device is used for the creation of scientific prototypes as well as students’ practical laboratory work. This facility is used by NASA and SpaceX and other USA space technology companies.
